Ms. Evans is the Center Director of the Pioneer Valley AHEC, a program of the City of Springfield Department of Health and Human Services and part of the MassAHEC Network of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  She has been in the public health field for the past 18 years in different capacities including health educator and community outreach worker. In her capacity with AHEC, she is a founding member and co-facilitator of the COWNT (Community Outreach Worker Network and Training) Coalition of greater Springfield. She holds a Masters Degree of Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA.
