Monique Mackey joined the Area L AHEC staff in 1998. She has served in several capacities at Area L including outreach librarian, director of information systems, and director of continuing medical education. She currently serves as the director of library/information services and continuing education, the director of quality initiatives, and the Regional Extension Center (REC) lead. Prior to her work with AHEC Mrs. Mackey worked for 17 years in both the hospital and outpatient setting.
