DESCRIPTION
Our presentation will illustrate the collaboration between a grantor, Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA); a university, Carolina Geriatric Education Center, UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine (UNC/CGEC); and an AHEC (Wake AHEC) to improve patient outcomes using Health Literacy. The presentation will highlight the variety of educational methods the CGEC and Wake AHEC have utilized to reach healthcare professionals in the state of North Carolina.
