DESCRIPTION
Empowering minority students to seek and arrange multiple job shadowing experiences to explore a variety of health career paths encourages the students to improve communication skills, fosters self-confidence, teaches professionalism, and promotes planning attainable career goals in an effort to address the critical workforce shortage of minority health professionals.

Combined Session #HC450, Gulfcoast South AHEC’s Comprehensive Cancer Careers Program (C3P)

DESCRIPTION
Gulfcoast South AHEC served as one of three grant-funded pilot sites to develop and implement C-Change Cancer Career Promotion Grants. The ultimate goal was to help address the existing and projected shortage of cancer care professionals that provide quality care to the populations of Florida and across the nation.
