The AHEC Career Enhancement Scholars (ACES) program in Missouri has a 12 year history. This session will review the components of this longitudinal pipeline program including changes made to strengthen the program. Available outcomes data will be shared as well as success stories.

Combined Session #HC642, Starting a Health Professions Affinity Community (HPAC) in your Schools

The Health Professions Affinity Community (HPAC) is a program designed to support and guide middle to high school students who have an interest in extending their connection to, and preparing for, a career in the health professions. HPAC offers a host of academic and community-based experiences with the aim of empowering students to take charge of their academic and career development and make a difference in the health of their communities.
